Real World Experiences (RWE)
Real World Experiences (RWE) are the experiential category of Real World Value: rewards that redeem into moments you live.
Real World Experiences (RWE) complete the trio of categories under Real World Value. An RWE redemption converts network rewards into something lived rather than owned or delivered — access, participation, a moment that happens to you rather than an object that belongs to you.
Experience is arguably the redemption people remember longest. An asset can be lost and a service is consumed, but an experience becomes part of a person's story, which is why RWE holds equal standing with RWA and RWS in the Flashy model. It recognises that for a large share of participants, the point of earning is not accumulation but access.
Within the For-Gold economy, RWE also loops back into earning: experiences redeemed can themselves be sites of Attend-For-Gold or Explore-For-Gold activity, keeping the cycle in motion.
Common questions
What distinguishes an experience from a service in the RWV model?
A service is done for you; an experience is something you take part in. RWS is provision, RWE is participation — the value lives in the moment itself.
Can redeemed experiences earn further rewards?
They can intersect with the verb economy — attending or exploring a redeemed experience is exactly the kind of activity verbs like Attend-For-Gold describe.
